THE MEMORY OF AN EXCEPTIONAL PLEASURE

Appreciating some wines, rarer ones, those which are more cerebral and complex requires a certain maturity and an educated palate.  Then the recollection of having already tasted an extraordinary wine will make this moment of pleasure absolutely exceptional.

This intensity of sensation is revealed by the AOC ALSCACE GRAND CRU ZINNKOEPFLE, a hillside upon which our pagan ancestors celebrated their worship of the sun, or the GRAND CRU STEINERT, an area reputed since the year 1 000.  These magnificent terroirs produce wines devoted to fine gastronomy and long ageing.

Certain wines, made with grapes picked much later in the season, well after the leaves have fallen and sometimes even after the first frosts, can benefit from the indication “Late Harvests” or “Selection of Noble Berries”.  These wines then concentrate the exceptional pleasure that fines of Alsace made by Domaine Rieflé are able to bestow.
