Members of the Rieflé family and employees at the Domaine RIEFLE derive a lot of pleasure from living here and enabling you to share their enthusiasm for their work that protects and cares for this exceptional environment.

The vineyards are managed in almost the same way as a garden would be, so that the link between the terroir and each wine is given careful attention.  To achieve this, we have re-introduced ploughing and mechanically working the soil in order to encourage deep rooting, in better contact with trace elements and minerals contained in the soil.

To protect the fauna in the soil too and to avoid the most fragile soils becoming packed down, we work with a small caterpillar tractor.  Lastly, we believe that each grape deserves to be dealt with by human hands, so this is why we prefer manual harvests for our vines.
