Bright red. Clean, vibrant aromas of ripe red berries and spices reveal a complicating hint of flint. Ripe and round but very fresh, offering flavors similar to the aromas. The finish is medium-long and features hints of sweet spices and black pepper. About 50% whole clusters, made from grapes grown in Pfaffenheim, Rouffach, Soulzmatt and Westhalten on essentially marly-clay soils.
