Domaine Rieflé - Alsace Grand Cru Steinert Riesling 2017
Score : 93 points
Golden straw-yellow. Minty herbs and stony nuances complicate ripe pomaceous fruit and lime on the nose and in the mouth. As wines from the Steinert often do, this offers an intriguing combination of lively acidity and a ripe tropical fruit presence. Finishes long and saline with a juicy viscosity that is really quite unique. Only native yeasts used. 100% Riesling, but unfortunately this is not stated on the front label, making it hard to differentiate at first glance from another Rieflé wine also called Steinert but made with 100% Pinot Gris.
